Yes, you need a professional (B2B) Auctim account in order to place bids. Creating and account is free but requires a valid VAT number.
How much is the warranty and is it refundable?

To participate in this auction, a refundable warranty of €25,000 is required.
If your total bids across Auctim exceed certain thresholds, a higher warranty may be requested:

  • Total bids under €250,000 → €25,000 warranty

  • Total bids between €250,000–€500,000 → €50,000 warranty

  • Total bids above €500,000 → €100,000 warranty


You will be automatically notified during the bidding process if you exceed a treshold.
You can request a refund anytime via your My Auctim account, unless you're the highest bidder or have unpaid items.
